Jr-Sr High School Sign Restoration Project

Spearheaded by the Class of 1970, with assistance from the Class of 1980, the Alumni Association and others, Lake George Alumni are tackling the restoration of the iconic Jr-Sr High School sign at the front of the building on Canada Street. The sign is often featured in photographs of the school, and in news and sports articles in local and regional papers. Unfortunately, the condition of the sign has deteriorated significantly, and is now in sore need of restoration.

Lake George Alumni, family, and friends of the Jr-Sr High School are encouraged to contribute to this worthwhile project to replace the letters, repoint and repair the brick, and replace the concrete cap with local stone. To donate, simply click on the “DONATE” button at the bottom of this page (or through our DONATE page in the menu ar the top of this page). This will automatically take you to our PayPal account so you can make your donation by credit card or another PayPal account. From our PayPal account, simply choose the amount and the purpose of your donation, and complete the transaction. Or you can mail a check (write “sign” in the memo line on your check) to the Lake George Alumni Association, P.O. Box 575, Lake George, NY 12845. Please consider making a contribution today.

We’re sorry but the chicken parms are gone. Thank you LG Alumni and Friends!
