Alumni of the Lake George Central School District have gathered together for decades to celebrate each other, their alma matter, and the community which shaped them. In an effort to strengthen school spirit and to give back to the community through the Lake George High School Alumni Association, Alumni have also generously funded student scholarships, student activities, and school improvement projects. Many dedicated Alumni have supported Association efforts through annual contributions, benefit events, and annual dues. For many years, the Rachael Ray (Class of 1986) benefit cooking show, and the annual banquet with silent auction, were favorite highlights.
The immediate past officers and the current board of directors recognize that the internet and social media have changed the way Alumni interact with each other and the school community. The Alumni Association must adapt to these changes in order to provide continued value to our members. We are asking all Alumni, whether or not they are members of the Association, to help us plan strategically for the future.
